The nimbleness of your website is now a significant part in determining its Google search rankings. That's the latest decree from Andrew B King, an expert on websites based out of Ann Arbor.

King says Google has added a page speed signal to its search rankings algorithm, officially linking performance with search engine marketing.

In an article on his Web site, King says the loading speed of a Web page affects user psychology in a number of ways, and now it can effect its rankings as well.
