Dexter residents consider "cityhood"

To become a city or not. That is the question residents in the Dexter area are considering as they hold meetings on the possibility of turning the village into city.

About 90 people packed the Dexter Senior Center Wednesday night for a town hall meeting to learn more about what cityhood would mean for the Village of Dexter and its residents.

About a dozen people asked questions on topics that ranged from potential annexation issues to the process of becoming a city.
