DTE Energy Resources is a non-regulated business that is wholly owned by DTE Energy with operations that range from on-site commercial energy solutions to energy trading to greenfield energy project development. As a member of the MBA Rotational Program, I have the opportunity to experience several different business units over a two year period. My first assignment is in the Strategy and M&A group, which acts as an internal consultancy for the broader DTE organization. Some of the projects that we assist in include evaluating possible M&A opportunities, developing renewable energy projects and launching new business ventures.
