Growth Companies

It's all in the secret sauce... so to speak.

Royal Oak-based RazorThreat makes threat analysis software that’s different from any other security product on the market. How? Well, the typical firewall is constructed to block known threats, leaving computer networks vulnerable to hackers that know what they're doing. RazorThreat's patented Threat Analysis Console™ (TAC) actually adapts to an organization's unique network and then, by identifying both internal and external risks, is able to predict and preempt attacks.

A little more than a year old, President and CEO Greg Guidice sees a bright horizon for this innovative company. With a plan to a
ggressively pursue federal markets and financial institutions, they foresee an enthusiastic response. Of course, it helps that SC Magazine (which is the computer security industry's gold standard) just named RazorThreat as its 2007 Industry Innovator.

Ann Arbor SPARK awarded RazorThreat the Best of Boot Camp award at its Entrepreneur Boot Camp in November 2006 and Autonation Alley chose it as the 2007 Emerging Technology Company of the Year.

RazorThreat currently has eight full-time employees and expects to double that in the coming year.
