Advanced battery production in the Midland area is getting another addition with the announcement by Dow Kokam that it will build another plant to make casings for its batteries.
Excerpt: Dow Kokam on Thursday said it will add a 60,000-square-foot facility to its Midland Battery Park.
The new facility will house production of advanced energy storage packs that will provide a casing for Dow Kokam's lithium-ion cells and battery management systems.
