Church will renovate old Saginaw school into community center

The Fuerbringer elementary school in Saginaw will soon see new life as an new community church effort gets underway, thanks to Crosspoint Chapel. 

Excerpt: Rusty chairs and desks that haven't been used for seven years are piled up in the main hallway, but it's not going to stay that way for long.

Rob Troutman, pastor at Saginaw Township-base Crosspoint Chapel, helped lead a two-year initiative for the church to buy the Fuerbringer building in November 2013.
