As the economy continues to rebound, its exciting to know that new business and industry may be coming to your area. That's what's happening for a small town in Tennessee, which is the future home of a facility being built by Hemlock Semiconductor that will have a host of new jobs for residents there.
Excerpt: Although Hemlock Semiconductor Group won't open its $1.2 billion polycrystalline silicon plant in Clarksville, Tenn., until 2012, the Thomas Township-based company already has made a sizable impact in the southern city.
"It's kind of funny," said state Rep. Joe Pitts, D-Clarksville. "The answer to every question in this community is 'Hemlock.' "
