Midland's 'Tridge' getting a bit of a makeover

You've got to be known for something, right? The Upper Peninsula is known for pasties. Detroit is known for cars. Ann Arbor is known for the Wolverines. And Midland? Well, Midland is known for a three-legged bridge that is currently in the process of getting a makeover.

Construction crews have began restoring parts of the "Tridge," a three-legged bridge that stretches across both the Chippewa and Tittabawasse rivers.

Some call the Tridge the centerpiece of the community and they want to keep it around for future generations to enjoy.

"If you're from Midland, you pretty much know where it is," said Craig McDonald.
