We were among many who mourned Maurice Sendak's death last week, and among many who ran across a strange little video with Christopher Walken apparently reading "Where the Wild Things Are." Except, that's not Walken -- it's actually a Saginaw artist, Chris Howard.
Excerpt: In what Saginaw musician and filmmaker Chris Howard calls "a little bizarre" turn of events, the May 8 death of famed children’s book author and illustrator Maurice Sendak has turned a video he made last year into a viral phenomenon.
"I put it together on a whim," said Howard, who as Christopher Walken does a hilarious read of Sendak’s classic "Where the Wild Things Are."
