Two new physicians have joined Bronson Internal Medicine Specialists, physicians who are at the hospital 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week and specialize in inpatient medicine. They act as a patient’s primary doctor while the patient is hospitalized.
Sarah M. Hughes, DO, and Karthik Vijayaraghavan, MD, have joined the Bronson team.
Hughes earned her medical degree from Michigan State University. She completed an internal medicine residency at Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Hughes taught at Kalamazoo and Battle Creek area colleges and high schools.
Vijayaraghavan earned his medical degree at Thanjavur Medical College in India. Dr. Vijayaraghavan completed his internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He also received a Master’s in Public Health from East Tennessee State University.
Bronson Internal Medicine Hospital Specialists are board certified and board eligible internal medicine physicians.
