Port Huron real estate watch: 5 homes (and a dock) for under $100K




Whether you're looking to raise a family, flip a house, make an investment, or become a landlord, Port Huron has plenty of housing options on the market, and quite a number of them coming in under $100,000. There are even some options for you sailors out there.

Here's a look at some of our favorite houses on the market today, and all below that $100,000 mark.


1725 20th Street: $64,900

Catch up on local neighborhood gossip and news over breakfast at nearby Nick's Four Roses and then come home to this 1 This bungalow is priced to sell.3/4-story bungalow on the west end of town. Located north of the Blue Water Bridge, the new owners--or their tenants, as the buildings are currently leased out--are within blocks of Sanborn Park, Lakeside Park, and Lakeside Beach on Lake Huron.

Located on Military Street, the home features views of the St. Clair River.

821 Stone St.: $49,900

An attractive option for students and professors, this two-flat is located right across the street from the campus of St. Clair County Community College. Though currently split into upper and lower flats, the listing states that the building is easily converted back into a single-family residence. Built in 1908, the home features dark wood floors, trim, and built-in shelving and closet units.

Happy centennial to this charming blue multi-unit household just west of downtown. Built in 1918, the 2,500 square foot Catch a little history with Port Huron home priced under $100,000.building features seven bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across three units. And at an asking price of $85,000, with an estimated mortgage of $348 per month, the rent collected from the apartment units should easily cover the mortgage payments--and then some. Though as close to within walking distance it is to downtown and the rivers, buyers might want to move in themselves.

Wild card: Boat Well Unit 27 at Cross Pointe Condominiums

What would a real estate article about a port city be without something for the water? You can pull you houseboat into Boat Well Unit 27 at Cross Pointe Condominiums for a $16,900 listing price and a $50 per month association fee, which includes cable, water, and electricity. Good for boats up to 38 to 40 feet in length.
