National Wine & Spirits expands space in Brownstown

National Wine & Spirits is expanding its operations in Brownstown Township this year with a 225,000-square-foot addition to its facilities on 18472 Allen Road.

The Michigan Economic Development Corp granted the alcohol distributing company a $58,500 tax credit for the $26.5 million project. The development will significantly expand the company's warehousing and office spaces for southeast Michigan.

National Wine & Spirits plans to raze a small, vacant building on the parcel and build the addition on the site. The new building will support the firm's existing facilities that are located on an adjacent property.

The project is expected to create 10 new full-time jobs.
