Patios n’ Pints initiative launches at historic home in Sterling Heights

The city of Sterling Heights has launched a new beer garden at the historic William Upton House to celebrate the season and encourage residents to get out and enjoy their city.

The first Patios n’ Pints event was held June 20, with musical guest Michael Tocco and supported by Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill, while the June 27 event was supported by Royal Oak Brewery. Rochester Mills Brewery will be backing tonight's evening (from 5pm to 8pm) and there is potential for further dates, says Sterling Heights senior economic development adviser Luke Bonner.

Metromode was at the latest event to see residents raising a glass to their city.

Free live music adds to the ambience.
