RTT USA Inc., which creates 3-D visualizing software for automotive, aircraft and consumer goods applications, have added seven new employees, with plans to hire 15 or more within the next year.
The company, whose slogan is “challenging reality,” creates virtual showrooms and prototypes, which essentially offers customers a chance to see company’s products in action on the web.
The company's Royal Oak branch opened last year and now has ten employees. They have plans to continue their expansion, adding design consultants and business development managers in order to keep up with its growing cliental, which includes everyone from Adidas to BMW to Sony Ericsson.
With Audi, they created a 3-D model that allows customers to pick the model and color of the vehicle, where they are then taken on a visual tour of car they have chosen. The company has since begun a similar job after inking a contract with the Chrysler Group.
RTT was founded in 1999 in Germany, moved to the states in 2005, opening an office in California. Worldwide, the company has grown to over 200 employees in its nine locations.
