Intellectual property looks to play a major part of Michigan's transformation from a brawn-based economy to a brain-based one. So much so that TechTown will hold a seminar on June 6 on the subject and how it can help create and strengthen businesses.
"I truly believe that one of the engines that are necessary to develop our economy is the creation, or importation, of intellectual property" says Christophe Sevrain, who will speak at the half-day seminar. "In fact, Michigan is one of the states with the most IP per inhabitant, and these assets could also be deployed for new applications, or to create new companies."
