Bright House Networks expands into telecommunications

Home phone service may seem like a thing of the past, but that and a business solutions service are the key products driving growth at Bright House Networks.

"It has greatly exceeded our expectations," says Bob McCann, president of the Detroit Division of the Bright House Networks. "It continues to grow at exponential levels."

The 29-year-old firm employs 250 people and the occasional intern. The company focuses on providing telecommunications products, such as high-speed Internet and digital phone service. The firm has been able to produce multiple versions of these products, which has supported its growth.
