Xperience Communications hires six in Dearborn, looks to add 3-10 more

Dearborn's Xperience Communications has traveled the path so many Michigan-based companies are painfully traversing these days.

The firm started eight years ago with accounts at Ford. That expanded to more automotive contracts and then to other industries, such as pharmaceutical technology and consumer projects. Today the company is sitting pretty, profitable and growing.

"The company has enjoyed revenue growth in each year it's been in business," says John Jones, managing partner with Xperience.

Xperience has added staff to cope with that growth, bringing on six people in the last year. The company plans to hire a few more within the next. That could mean as few as three or as many as 10, depending on whether they find the right people.

"We're in a heavy recruitment mode right now to bring in more talent," Jones says. "When we find the right people we bring them on."

It's doing this as it expands into three of the most vibrant areas of the new economy – the Detroit-Chicago, Boston-Washington D.C. and the San Francisco-San Diego corridors. It sees those areas as the key to its growth in the near term as it continues to diversify its client base.
