Local Arabic linguists sought as translators to support US Army

Global Linguist Solutions is seeking translators to support US Army operations in Iraq. The firm is holding a job fair in Detroit on May 23.

In a statement, GLS president James Marks says, "In the near future, Global Linguist Solutions (GLS) expects to take on the mission of providing highly skilled linguists to our units in Iraq. Interpreters and translators are the key to bridging language and cultural differences, and building the foundations for peace and prosperity for the citizens of Iraq."

The job fair will be held at the Detroit Headquarters of the Arab American Chaldean Council, at 111 W. Seven Mile Road, from 3 - 7:30 p.m.
