An Ann Arbor company is helping people become healthier and fighting the good fight against local unemployment rates. HealthMedia is forming partnerships and on track to expand its workforce this year about as much as it did last year when it hired three dozen new employees.

OK, that might be a little too simplistic description of the Ann Arbor-based company, but this much is true. The firm is growing, and growing quickly as it helps people live healthier lives.
The company, born from 30-plus years of behavioral science research at the University of Michigan, has grown to 130 employees. Of those more than 100 of them are based out of Tree Town. Those 130 include 38 new hires over the last year and the company expects to grow its payroll by 30 percent this year.
