Ann Arbor's Solidica adds 15 positions in two years, looks to create more

With the benefit of military and Japanese contracts, Ann-Arbor based Solidica took a few major steps forward this year --strides, really-- and it hopes to take a few more soon. The wireless systems developer is looking to create another 15 jobs within the next two years.

The last two years have been good for Solidica and the Ann Arbor sensor company hopes the next two will treat it just as well.

The wireless systems developer has grown to 30 employees since it was founded in 1999. Of those jobs, 15 were created in the last two years where it has grown 80 percent in that same period of time.

"We have had a tremendous amount of growth in the last 24 months and we expect that to continue," says Jeff Jorge, director of global Market development for Solidica
