PEDS Green Infrastructure Vision wins national award

Oakland County's Department of Planning and Economic Development Services (PEDS) has been selected for a nationwide award for their Green Infrastructure Vision.

PEDS was one of three winners selected from 13 nominations in the Partnership Category. Winning awards will be recognized during the 2011 National Green Infrastructure Conference, which begins Feb. 22.

The panel who selected the final award winners is comprised of a high-level mix of America's most powerful planning and environmental agencies, including the Department of Defense, the US National Park Service, the American Planning Association and The Conservation Fund.
