Wayne County commissioners held their last meeting in the boardroom of the Old Wayne County Building today before their February move into the Guardian Building downtown.
Commissioners brought back ex-colleagues such as former chairmen Arthur Blackwell II, Ricardo Solomon and Arthur Carter for today's session.

"The thing I remember most about this building, this commission is we created a fiercely independent (body). The separation of power is very important.
