Wonderstruck Studios coming to Ford Field

The Wonderstruck Studios animation facility project will occupy office space at Ford Field and open by June 1, its backer told Crain’s this afternoon.

However, the Detroit Lions, who handled leasing for the office space attached to the stadium, said no lease has been signed.

The studio is leasing 7,500 feet of production office space at the venue, said Michelle Richards in a call from Los Angeles, along with a 14,000-square-foot sound stage that was already at the stadium.
