CSM Group is seeking a Construction Manager. This full-time position is a Mid-Senior level job in project management in the Construction Industry.
Candidates for this position must provide leadership, direction and oversight during all phases of construction.
This includes the coordination of all workers, materials and equipment.
Candidates will also be expected to coordinate the construction activities around a fully operational production facility.
Candidates must also ensure that during construction all specifications, standards and quality expectations are met or exceeded.
Potential candidates must also ensure that projects are installed on time, within budget and in a safe manner.
Candidates must also possess knowledge of all OSHA regulations for construction and general industry and ensure that projects are installed in a safe manner. Individuals interested in this position must also have knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety.
Candidates must have full authorization to work in the US, without requiring sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
• OSHA 30 Hour is desired.
• Travel will be required.
• Excellent negotiations, verbal, listening and written communications skills are required to interact with clients, vendors and employees.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project).
• Four or more years of industrial experience and/or food manufacturing with at least two years in a lead Project Management role or comparable managerial or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering operations, contracting and general business operations.
• Understanding of project accounting and financial management tools.
• Strong listening, oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to proactively implement organizational and process change in response to business needs.
