Pfizer is seeking a QO Technical Associate for its first shift at its Kalamazoo location. This is a fulltime job.
ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities:
• Test raw materials, in-process, intermediate and finished product samples.
• Assist in coordinating the testing activities of the group.
• Participate as a member of the laboratory team to ensure all lab results are completed in a timely manner with a high level of quality.
• Complete laboratory documentation in a timely manner and to a high standard that is consistent with cGMP requirements.
• Accountable for the accuracy and validity of testing results.
• Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Write, review, and/or revise standard operating procedures.
• Assist in the development, validation and implementation of new microbiological methods.
• Involvement in equipment qualification.
• Maintain all related records.
• Utilize safe work practices.
• Moderate physical activity is required.
• Some mechanical aptitude is required.
QualificationsThe Ideal candidate should have:
• A degree in Microbiology is strongly preferred.
• Basic laboratory skills and proficiency in aseptic technique.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry or related discipline.
This laboratory currently tests cephalosporins.
