Rockwell Automation is seeking a Program Manager in Business Development for its Kalamazoo-area location. This is a full-time position in Control Products and Solutions.
Position Summary
Ensure customer satisfaction and effective program management by providing appropriate support and leadership with customer’s locations.
This position will manage the customer’s Repair and Warranty Program for U.S. locations and assist in reliability strategies.
The Program Manager will have overall responsibility for the program performance with customer.
The Program Manager will provide management experience to streamline processes, drive program efficiencies and consistency and recommend inventory strategies.
The candidate must act with a sense of urgency; have strong communication skills as well as great customer service skills.
The candidate must be a highly motivated individual that is able to multitask, excellent organizational skills, great problem solving skills, be very detail-oriented, be self directed and self motivated, and work independently as well as with a small team.
The candidate must be able to manage in-direct, non-local field teams.
This position requires the ability to travel to other Rockwell Automation and Customer locations on business for periods of one to two weeks as required. Approximately 50 percent travel may be required.
This position requires mobility in an industrial, plant floor environment and is subject to the client’s plant safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or equivalent years experience in Logistics, Business, Engineering, Inventory Management or Supply.
Chain Management
Some experience with project management methodology, process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen), or statistical data.
At least 5 years related work experience in sales, customer satisfaction or lean experience preferred.
The successful candidate will have a high computer proficiency in, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with SAP is preferred.
