The Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce will move to a bigger space in the historic Key Bank Building on Main Street this summer.

The Chamber's board of directors decided it wanted to maintain a presence on Main Street, [president and CEO of the Chamber Jesse] Bernstein said.
"They felt this was the place the Chamber should be, that we needed
to be in the center. We are equa-distance from the Plymouth Road
corridor, the Jackson Road corridor, State Street, Briarwood and the
Washtenaw corridor. Downtown is still downtown. People are here."
Even businesses not located in the city's heart are fond of
downtown, Bernstein said. "When I have breakfast or lunch meetings,
people want to come downtown."
