village DDA has bought an old industrial complex it intends to raze to make
room for more urban development.

of extending downtown took a major step forward in Dexter recently.
The Dexter Downtown
Development Authority has purchased the original DAPCO industrial building for
$1.6 million and intends to raze it to make room for an extension of downtown.
The 1.45 acres on 3045 Broad St.
will be cleared so Jeffords Street
can be extended through it and clear the land for future development.
