Wine bar soon to open in Downtown Detroit

Downtown Detroit's continued growth has attracted a wine bar, Enoteca-Campo Marzio, to open up in the First National Building just across from Campus Martius,

Enoteca will seat 50 with plans to add outdoor seating in the spring. There will be marble floors, a marble bar and, most importantly, a wine list of over 100. Light food, such as artisan cheese, paninis, caviar and chocolate, will be served, as will grappa and espresso.

This is definitely the likes of which downtown's resurgence has not yet seen. "I think it's going bring a high-end kind of crowd," says Davy Godier, a leasing agent at First National.
