Martini bar opens in newly restored "bank" in downtown Mt. Clemens

The idea that another bar has opened in downtown Mt. Clemens isn't really news, but the fact that the new "The Bank" martini bar comes to Metro Detroiters thanks to the restoration of yet another historic building, does.

The developers behind The Bank restored an old Federal Savings and Loan building on Main Street, giving it a second life as a martini bar. The 8,000-square-foot structure had been vacant for several years before being restored.

The new bar takes up space in both the ground floor and basement of the one-story building.
