Birmingham moves forward with Triangle District planning

Birmingham has hired LSL Planning Consultants to help develop a new master plan and design strategy for the city’s “Triangle District.”

The area bounded by Woodward Avenue, Adams Road and Maple Road (just east of downtown) is experiencing development pressure yet is an area lacking a clear vision and framework for growth.

The city will hold two public-input meetings on the proposed master plan on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8 at 825 Bowers St. All interested parties from local residents to potential developers are welcome to attend the open sessions at the meeting.
