Join us for Open City: Taste the Dearborn Experience - an intimate, round-table panel discussion, featuring local food entrepreneurs - on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, from 5:30-7:30 pm, atop Wagner Place West.
Enjoy the up and coming Downtown skyline, good eats (and drinks); and, learn what’s attracting food entrepreneurs to the area + the driving force behind recent business expansions. The panel, to be moderated by Amanda Saab, owner of Butter Bear Shop, and FoodLab Detroit member, will feature:
- Zee Shami, founder of ZeeTheCook Culinary Studio
- Sam Abbas, owner of Brome Modern Eatery & Yogurtopia- Kasey Chammout, owner of Mint 29
Special guests include representatives for Build Institute and Wagner Place West.
Light fare and libations will be provided; and, all guests will take home a bag of swag from our event partners and participants.

This is the second event in a 3-part Open City Dearborn series, presented by Build Institute, in partnership with Metromode Media and the Dearborn Downtown Development Authority. The series aims to shine a spotlight on Dearborn's unique community of entrepreneurs; and, the influx of new businesses looking to set up shop in the area.
