SurplusTrack.com, an online logistics and inventory services provider based out of Ann Arbor recently added a new 10,000 square foot warehouse.
The company, which represents over 400 brands (including Cutler-Hammer and Timken) offers thousands of unique items for purchase or trade on both its website and Ann Arbor location.
SurplusTrack, a business-to-business inventory management system, recently hired a full-time manager to operate the warehouse, which will be used to provide logistics services, as well as house excess inventory from SurplusTrack's clients. The service of housing the surplus inventory is a recent service the company started to allow their clients to free up more of their own space for operations.
Currently with 19 employees, spokesperson Annette Heilmann said the company, which opened in November of last year, is in the process of hiring interns for the summer, whom the company hopes will eventually become full-time employees.
