Azure Dynamics settles in to Oakland digs

Metro Detroit's going global. Azure Dynamics, with offices around the world, has begun to move its Toronto HQ to Oak Park. The company creates hybrid systems for commercial truck and bus fleets and electric trucks.

Azure Dynamics has so far moved nine employees into its 36,000-square-foot, two-story headquarters, where it will house management and supply chain functions. The company announced it was moving its headquarters from Toronto in September 2007 after obtaining tax credits from both the city and state.
