Detroit pharma, Caraco, reports record sales

Detroit pharmaceutical company Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd reported record sales over the past quarter, most likely from the sales of Oxcarbazepine Tablets, a generic form of Trileptal.

Excerpt:

Revenue for the quarter for the generic drug maker was $81.9 million, up from $31.3 million a year earlier. For the nine months, revenue was $158.6 million, up from $84.3 million for the corresponding period of fiscal 2007.
