iDashboards boasts 510% revenue growth, adds 10 new positions

Over the first half of the year, Troy-based iDashboards' revenue has jumped 510% over the first two quarters of 2006. The increase can be attributed to its expansion into the financial and healthcare industries, which has helped the company add 100 clients to its roster.

iDashboards develops web-based applications that clients use to analyze and track data and monitor performance. The dashboard can be integrated with Excel spreadsheets and can be tailored to any geography, measurement system and currency by the user. Highly customizable and flexible, the visually-rich dashboards the company creates have attracted clients like Navy Federal Credit Union, Trinity Insurance and St. John Helath.

CEO and founder Shadan Malik says the company has added five new employees -- in the areas of marketing, Flash development, technical writing and business development -- to its staff in the last three months, bringing the total to around 20. Now, iDashboards has five open positions in the areas of Flash and Java development.

iDashboards was selected as one of 50 emerging tech vendors by CRN, which highlights companies that are developing innovative technology that larger companies are not delivering.
