Pure Entropy Technologies gets time with Joint Chiefs of Staff

Kevin Lasser can't talk much about the U.S. Dept. of Defense. Even though Govenor Jennifer Granholm recently sat down with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and told them about all of the innovative things Pure Entropy Technologies has been up to, Lasser can't say what if anything came of it.

"I don't think the governor would take anything to them that wasn't really special,” says Kevin Lasser, CEO of Pure Entropy Technologies.

The Clawson-based firm specializes in making sure electronic communications (ahem, text messages) are kept from prying eyes. The company has encryption technology services from both private and public entities. The company just brought on two more people and expects to hire more in the near future.

"We’re rolling out new products left and right," Lasser says. "There is a backlog."
