Red Level Networks will celebrate the official opening of its new Novi office on Tuesday, July 31 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The IT company serves small- and mid-sized companies without dedicated computer support staff, and made the move from Livonia because of growth in both offerings and number of employees.
President and founder David King explains that adding additional services to the firm's roster of offerings necessitated the need for more space. "We needed to bring in additional servers and softwares," he says. Their new office also provides a 30-foot by 30-foot room for out-of-state companies to host specialized software trainings for local professionals.
Red Level has added three people to its staff since the beginning of the year, bringing the total to 10. They are currently looking to hire a network systems engineer and a sales and project coordinator.
King chose Novi because of its location on the 275/696 corridor. "I really like the location, the access to the freeways and we are still centrally located," he says, pointing out that many of their clients hail from Lansing, Detroit, Flint and Washtenaw County. He adds that Oakland County is "perceived as tech-centric. We want to grow with that mindset as well."
