Specialize Global Logistics Services Inc., based out of Willow Run Airport, landed a contract to transport a part for the new Chrysler Sebring. The company also added one employee to its roster of 50.

[SGLS president and CEO Daniel] Hoppe said the contract was a "nice win because it's a global enterprise. It's a foot in the door."
"They're going to be between fourth and fifth of the largest accounts that we have," Hoppe said. "And it will definitely add to the bottom line."
He said the contract would give his company a chance to expand its shipping base beyond the southeast Michigan region. He identified Chicago as a market SGLS would like to penetrate.
"It's going to put us in a position to open up Chicago. It's a domestic hub," Hoppe said.
