Michigan can and should compete for venture capital

What Michigan still needs to do is quantify and qualify the specific clusters of excellence in our state and focus on those, not try and be everything for everybody. We have great educational, research and medical institutions here. But we don’t have a monopoly on all things life science. Let’s identify our strengths and really go after those sectors.
