Ann Arbor SPARK has connected with a Spanish aerospace firm in an effort to entice it to locate its North American operations in Ann Arbor Township.

[Township supervisor Michael] Moran said SPARK officials have told him the township is among three locations the company is considering. He said the township Board of Trustees was asked to determine whether it would be willing to offer a tax abatement to the company.
Moran said the township couldn't offer specific incentives until a tax abatement application is filed, but he indicated the township would respond "favorably" to a request by the company.
The facility would employ engineers and would not be a manufacturing plant.
