Visca adds staff in Detroit's TechTown, plans to hire more

Visca is feeling a bit visceral these days in Detroit.

Visca is on the move in TechTown, hiring one and plans to hire two more right away.

Among the positions the Wayne State University spin-off is looking to fill is for an engineer. Adding these positions will up the 4-year-old start-up’s staff to about 15 people and the occasional intern with plans to hire more in the near future. Making this possible is the work that has been done over the company’s short life-span.

"Several of the research & development projects are maturing into actual products," says Gregory Auner, chief technology officer with Visca and professor at Wayne State University.
