ArtServe Michigan's mission is to cultivate the creative potential of Michigan's arts and cultural sector to enhance the health and well-being of Michigan, its people, and communities. Our work is achieved in partnership with dedicated individuals just like you and because of this, great progress is being made here in our state.
Even in the face of such tumultuous times, thanks to consistent citizen engagement, state government arts & cultural grant funding was largely left untouched under Governor Granholm's recent Executive Order, while so many other government programs unfortunately did experience reduced funding. ArtServe Michigan's Regional Meetings are helping to build this human highway system across both peninsulas, enhancing communities' abilities to effectively mobilize and link to one another on topics affecting the survival of arts and culture here in our state, including public policy and best practices.
