Fred Levine's camera takes him into the offices of some of Metro Detroit's most powerful people.
The
West Bloomfield photographer specializes in headshots, or a photograph
of a person's head and shoulders. Actors, politicians, business people and community leaders use these photographs to promote themselves in newspapers, on Web sites and across other media.
It
may sound easy, but Levine's job is a mix of National Geographic and
Business Week. While the subject may be serious, Levine tries to
capture the essence of his models, whether it is the potential of a
young high-school graduate, the glamour of an up-and-coming actress or
the expertise of Fortune 500 company's chief executive.
