Workers have finished the core and shell of the new 325 Woodward Building in downtown Birmingham and are working at finishing the office space for new tenants.
The mixed-use building has 184,000 square feet of space, which includes retail, office and residential space. The first floor will be used mainly for retail and restaurant space. The second and third floors are reserved for office space. The fourth floor is set aside for luxury penthouses.
The building, located at 325 N. Old Woodward Ave., is where the old Jacobson’s used to stand. Bingham Farms-based Burton-Katzman Development Co. is developing the building.
