Center Street Square set to break ground late this year in downtown Northville

Washington, Mich.,-based Meridien Development plans to move forward with its Center Street Square development in downtown Northville toward the end of this year after the Northville City Council gave preliminary approval to the development’s plans last week.

The mixed-use development will feature retail and residential space at the corner of Center and Rayson streets. There will be 2,400 square feet of first floor retail under 15 condominium units in the three-story building. Each unit will range in size between 1,000 and 1,500 square feet of space with luxury features like granite countertops and hardwood floors. The units are priced between the mid $200,000s and the mid $300,000s.

The development must go before the city’s Planning Commission and then before the City Council again to gain final approval.
