Venture Investors, recently authorized $10 million in investments from Michigan 21st Century Investment Fund, announced that it led a $3.25 million investment in Incept BioSystems. The Ann Arbor-based life sciences company is currently developing technology that improves in vitro fertilization.
Venture was joined by several other investment firms, including: Massachusetts-based Angel Healthcare Investors and Plymouth Venture Partners, which is also in Ann Arbor.
Venture’s Managing Director, Jim Adox, will join Incept's board of directors. Adox works with Venture Investors’ home office in Wisconsin to find investments for the company.
"I have the resources of the entire firm here [in Ann Arbor], " said Adox. "We are all currently looking for new opportunities to invest and I am happy with how quickly we found Incept. "
