AIM Computer Solutions is taking pride in what a lot of Michigan-based companies have spent years trying to get away from, an all-automotive customer base.
The Frasher-based tech firm develops ERP software for small to medium sized repetitive manufacturers, such as automotive suppliers. For those in the know: the software packages do everything from serving as a single source for automotive EDI integration into production scheduling to providing a web-enabled wireless material tracking system for both manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments.
"We have niche market and we serve it well,"says Jerry Czernel, vice president of operations for
AIM Computer Solutions. "We have a reputation for serving it well. That how we're able to keep our marketing expenses down because people seek us out."
That has allowed the 17-year-old company to attract new users and new customer accounts. All of its clients are based in the midwest and are in the automotive sector. Czernel expects that growth to continue through a steady uptick in demand for his company's products.
"The market is loosening up," Czernel says.
