Detroit's OpTech experiences huge growth spurt, set for even bigger one

To say Detroit-based OpTech is growing would be a bit of an understatement as the downtown firm goes on a hiring binge.

Excerpt:

Business has been more than good ever since OpTech moved from Troy to downtown Detroit in 2005. The IT firm in the Guardian Building has gone from a couple of million dollars in revenues and about a dozen employees to $11 million in revenues and 85 employees today.

“It has been the beginning of what has been a very good run,” says Rick Anderson, vice president of sales for OpTech. “It (the Guardian Building) is sort of our good luck charm.”
