50 employees added this year to Edwards Bros. printers in Ann Arbor

Ann Arbor-based Edwards Brothers, Inc. has requested a $2 million tax abatement to subsidize the purchase of a new power plant and press for its facility.

Most of the money will be spent on the new press, while it will invest $150,000 for the power station.

The company is growing and has added 40 to 50 people to the local work force in the last six months. It employs about 450 people locally and more than 700 nationwide.
